BLGI Travel Exchange
De-Centralized Travel Platform
The BLGI travel exchange provides significant advantages to the travel industry. The platform uses A.I, machine learning, and blockchain, which reduces the need for a middle service provider. The Exchange additionally provides blockchain cryptography level security to protect user customer information and data.
As the BLGI Travel Exchange integrates across all top tier travel platforms, it will primarily focus on air travel and accommodation-related vendors; a range of other services will also be supported in the coming future. Once fully released, the platform will incorporate a majority of the travel and hospitality industry, allowing users to pay for other services such as rail tickets, restaurants, and spas with fiat currencies, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies.
BLGI's travel exchange system utilizes A.I and blockchain for travel reservations airline, hotel, and car rentals. The platform's decentralized technology automatically interfaces with a global distribution system of travel agencies and other distribution channels.
BLGI uses real-time inventory (e.g., number of hotel rooms available, number of flight seats available, or number of cars available) to service providers.
BLGI is different from a computer reservation system, a reservation system used by the service providers (also known as vendors). Primary customers of GDS are travel agents (both online and office-based) to make reservations on various reservation systems run by the vendors.
BLGI holds no inventory; the inventory is held on the vendor's reservation system itself. BLGI system will have a real-time link to the vendor's database. For example, when a travel agency requests a reservation on an airline company's service, the BLGI exchange routes the request to the appropriate inventory backend database utilizing the airline's reservations system backend services.
